Mariposa Avenue church of Christ is a non-denominational Christian church patterned after the New Testament example of local churches.  We believe in the authoritative word of God--that all scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness

We make every effort to speak where the Bible speaks, and to remain silent where the Bible is silent.

Worship is simple.  We meet to honor God through singing, praying, teaching from His Word, giving, and partaking of the Lord's Supper each first day of the week.  We praise God through song without the use of instruments--a cappella singing is the only music used in our worship

speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord ~ Ephesians 5:19

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. ~ Colossians 3:16

 As the body of Christ, we seek to glorify God by doing His will.
